We hope you have had an enjoyable stay in The Barn and that everything has been great for you.

We kindly ask you to check this list before departure.

This will give us time to clean the Barn before the next guest arrives.

If you'd like to request a late check-out, please contact us. However, please be informed that we may not be able to grant your request if we have same day check-in.

Place all bed linen, used towels, kitchen towels...

Place all the used bed linen, used towels, kitchen towels, cloths and robes in the grey laundry basket provided.

Do not strip the mattress and pillow protectors unless necessary.

If you have used any available charcoal please replace it.

Make sure of having cleaned the barbecue and the tools ready for future guests.

Waste and Recycle

Recycling, Refuse, Waste and Compost.
Waste and Recycle

Compost: Please place compostable waste in the compost bins beside the black garden shed located at the other side of the Cottage. No egg shells.


Recycling: Recyclable waste should be placed inside the green bin liner in the metal dustbin on the side of the Barn. Recyclable items are glass, metal(tins, cans and jar lids), plastic and cardboard. This is sorted at the depot.


Waste: All other rubbish should be placed in the kitchen bin.


Septic Tanks: Please only use toilet paper in the toilet. Sanitary products, dental floss, etc need to be disposed of in the bin.


On departure, remember to include the bathroom waste within the kitchen waste. Please bag all waste and put the green recycling and white general bags in the blue wheelie bin beside the garage. Loose waste cannot be collected.


The blue wheelie bin is emptied every Saturday from 7 am and taken by the waste management company to the depot. If possible put the rubbish and recycling bags Friday night or very early Saturday morning.
